For the second year in a row Moscow-based Gurov and Partners Communication group has been appointed as an official PR-agency of Russian Internet Week 2009 (RIW–2009) organized by the Regional Center of Internet-technologies (RCIT) with the support of Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of Russian Federation. Same as before the PR-agency will be fully responsible for development and implementation of RIW–2009 communication campaign, media relations, press-center support and copywriting.
Russian Internet Week is aimed on promotion of advanced Internet technologies, exchange best practices and strengthening of ties between Russian and foreign companies. For the first time RIW took place at Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in October, 2008 as a part of the VIII International Forum InfoCom-2008. The event congregated more than 8000 visitors.
This year RIW is held as an independent project and it is going to become even more remarkable. The event will take place at Central Exhibition Centre EXPOCENTR, Krasnaya Presnya, Moscow on October, 22-24. The organizers expect more than 12000 visitors. Within the three days more than 100 seminars, workshops and presentations will be given. The forum program also includes an international exhibition INTERNET-2009.
