Sales Director Joanne McMahon confirmed that they were now experiencing an unprecedented demand from outside the UK. “We have always had a strong scaffolding company customer base here in the UK. Our rubbish chute range is extremely comprehensive with a chute for pretty much every application including bulk rubble, slate or glass. Where we have seen good domestic growth this year is with hire companies. I think because we are the actual manufacturers and not merely importers, and because we manufacture in such sizeable production runs and keep stock available for next day delivery, we have a distinct advantage in the UK. However we have been pleasantly surprised to see our rubbish chutes and rubble chutes be shipped by the container load to Scandinavia, Southern Europe and even to The Middle East”.
The AKM rubbish chute range extends from a standard 20 inch to a 30 inch chute and top hopper, with “Y” sections, side entry rubbish chutes and fixing frames also available in each size.
