A biodegradable cleaner formulated for the marine industry, named Dock Master was in a trial stage under other names for a couple years. The final formula as reviewed by users and said to be superior to other products, was renamed under the current brand and packaged for sale by the master distributor, The Buying Network, Inc., said its president, Clay Peil.
Blind name testing was important so as to not damage the brand name, if the first release was not a perfect formula. The cleaner was blended and given to multiple customers ships for testing, until a time when they said “it worked great”. We are happy that we proceeded with the blind testing as we had a number of reformulations to get it right, stated Mr. Peil.
The product is said to be an odorless, biodegradable, cleaner with no dyes and a neutral pH with it currently marketed to the commercial marine industry for use throughout the ship, from the deck to the galley. "The success of the brand requires distribution in locations where the commercial ships operate. So the announcement of the two new distributors in Dutch Harbor, Alaska, is a step towards the brands success", said Mr. Peil. Alaska Ship Supply and North Pacific Fuels were the two companies said to be carrying the product.
