BusinessGenetics®, a pioneer in the Business Modeling, Business Requirements, Business Improvement and IT automation markets, is proud to announce the acceptance and presentation of their paper titled, “Implementing Improvements to Nuclear Asset Management.” The paper was researched, authored and presented at the 17th annual ICONE conference by BusinessGenetics’ Jessica Granger and the Electric Power Research Institute’s Charles Mengers and Stephen Hess.
The paper, presented at ICONE, reflects BusinessGenetics’ significant experience and success working with numerous Nuclear and Power Generation clients. In the paper and presentation, BusinessGenetics and EPRI described the development of an improved and more detailed Nuclear Asset Management (NAM) process model, and discussed some key results and insights obtained from the modeling engagement. In both the paper and the presentation one portion of the NAM process model was illustrated and applicable use scenarios were highlighted. To conclude the paper and discussion, numerous business and plant improvement opportunities were highlighted and addressed. The NAM process models were developed by BusinessGenetics to identify areas where plants can increase the effectiveness and integration of plant asset management programs which will have a significant and positive impact to the bottom line of nuclear generating facilities.
“BusinessGenetics was both excited and honored to partner with EPRI and present this paper at one of the largest and most prominent conferences in the Nuclear power industry. Being able to participate in such a thriving forum for the industries’ leaders and showcase the successes of our clients was very exciting,” shares Cedric Tyler, CEO of BusinessGenetics. “Presenting at our first ICONE conference has been a fantastic experience and we look forward to even closer collaboration with the nuclear power generation industry.”
