Omaha, NE, United States, 2009/08/04 - The AIM Institute is pleased to announce the addition of Jeff Slobotski as Director of Innovation and New Media to our Strategic Partnerships division.

Jeff has extensive experience building community-based relationships and partnerships using new technologies. He is the co-founder of Silicon Prairie News and Big Omaha – a website and regional conference, respectively – which highlight Omaha and the region's foremost innovators, entrepreneurs and creative class. Most recently, Jeff was Manager of Corporate Sales with Truist, a provider of philanthropic IT solutions designed to connect individuals, companies and nonprofits.
“Jeff’s expertise will allow him to create and strengthen partnerships between the AIM Institute, business leaders and entrepreneurs in Omaha and the state of Nebraska to develop and grow our region’s economy,” said Rod Armstrong, AIM’s Vice President of Strategic Partnerships.
Jeff is involved with a number of community organizations including Packs of Promise—a non-profit he founded to assist Omaha’s homeless during the winter months—the Omaha Chamber of Commerce's Young Professionals Council and CORE Community Church. He was appointed by Governor Heineman to the Nebraska Volunteer Service Commission and was recently named one of Omaha's Ten Outstanding Young Omahans by the Omaha Jaycees.
