MrTed Ltd., provider of the free and easy applicant tracking system (ATS) SmartRecruiters, today announced a partnership with First Advantage (NASDAQ: FADV), a global risk mitigation and business solutions provider. The partnership will focus on providing small-to-midsized businesses a more effective and cost-efficient means for managing applicants.
SmartRecruiters, one of the fastest-growing ATS on the market, is the only fully functional, 100-percent free SaaS ATS to connect users with recruitment-related services, which is what prompted First Advantage to team up with SmartRecruiters. “The partnership with SmartRecruiters will provide our clients access to a cost-effective recruiting solution and provide SmartRecruiters’ customers an array of integrated screening solutions that can be used to improve the quality of hire,” stated Paige Vesuvio, vice president of marketing for Employer Services at First Advantage.
The first services from First Advantage will be available to users of SmartRecruiters by the third quarter of 2009 and will include background checks and I-9 verification. First Advantage’s experience in employment pre-screening will help SmartRecruiters’ users improve screening quality and reduce compliance issues by preventing double entries, omissions and other human errors. With one click and one interface, users will find these services easy to use and intuitive.
By creating a partnership such as this, SmartRecruiters and First Advantage will not only provide small and midsized businesses with significant cost savings, but also, by adding services immediately within the ATS, recruiters and hiring managers should expect to save a tremendous amount of time. In addition to access to First Advantage’s services, SmartRecruiters users have direct posting access to some free posting sites, including SimplyHired, Indeed, GoogleBase and Recruit.net. Most recently, Yahoo!Hotjobs has been added to the growing list of available paid job boards.
