Fox Valley Wood Products of Kaukauna, Wisconsin will be breaking ground on a 2000 sq. foot building expansion and equipment upgrade. The building expansion is designed to improve raw material storage and staging for Fox Valley Wood Products new pallet assembly equipment. Fox Valley Wood Products will be replacing their Viking Duo Matic (purchased in 1991) with a Viking 505 Turbo from Viking Engineering and Development of Fridley Minnesota. “The Viking equipment has served us well. We wouldn’t consider purchasing anything else” says co-owner Jeff Van Zeeland. The project is slated to start June 22nd, 2009. Oudenhoven Construction Incorporated (OCI), of Kaukauna Wisconsin has been awarded the business. "OCI is always a pleasure to work with." says Jeff "We chose OCI due to their exceptional professionalism, creativity and quality."
“Due to state of the economy, moving forward with this project was a difficult decision to make. However when factoring in the age of our current equipment, attractive manufacturer rebates coupled with government tax incentives we began to view this move as a great opportunity to become a stronger company for the future. Fox Valley Wood Products manufactures wood pallets for various industries throughout Wisconsin. Fox Valley Wood Products serves the following markets: Green Bay, Appleton, Fond du lac, Oshkosh, Neenah, Menasha, Depere, Millwaukee, Madison and Manitowoc and Sheboygan.
Fox Valley Wood Products (foxvalleywoodproducts.com) is a 3rd generation company located in the town of Kaukauna. They currently employ 26 people and have been in business 46 years. The company started out building wooden crates for a local agricultural equipment manufacturer. Over the years they’ve expanded their products to include various industrial wooden packaging.
