Jeff Karpel, President of Karpel Solutions, announces the firm has designed and programmed a new website for Hager Companies, a St. Louis-based international manufacturer and distributor of commercial and residential door hardware products. The site features a complete easy-to-use catalog of all Hager products with special sections for installation instructions, project profiles, and a private client project area.
According to Donnell Siebert, Hager Companies’ Vice-President of Marketing and Product Development, the goal was to completely overhaul Hager’s existing site and make the site more functional for clients and staff. Karpel Solutions was charged with re-designing the site to reduce the number of “clicks” customers use to access information as well as re-tooling the site’s backend to make it easier for Hager staff to add features and details. Additionally the company wanted to streamline the ordering process and provide helpful tips and project information for architects and builders.
“This has been a major undertaking for Hager Companies and Karpel has done an excellent job of working with our staff to gain a solid understanding of our business needs,” Siebert said. “They have helped us reach our objective of creating a site that is greatly detailed but also easy to use.
