Through their holding company Exchange Bio GmbH, Mr. and Mrs. Sander acquired 25.1% of the Vapiano Group.
Vapiano was founded in 2003 and has created, through a combination of Fast Casual and Casual Dining elements, its innovative “Fresh Casual” concept as a new and successful category in the hospitality market. The concept was honored by numerous awards. The group currently operates 28 restaurants in Germany and shows significant growth rates, particularly abroad.
