Phillipostyle Hair Studio in Boston’s Fenway Neighborhood has been selected out of a pool of more than one hundred applicants as a “Salon of Distinction” and will appear in the industry-leading publication’s June issue slated to feature SALONS OF THE YEAR 2009. Among others areas, the salon was nominated for its cutting-edge décor, which features state-of-the-art audio/visual systems, walls of windows, and is slated to begin construction on an outdoor patio in the coming months. The salon joins many upscale restaurants and retailers in what has evolved into a complete revival of the Fenway area. As the first salon to join in the build-out, Caporrella strives to define his salon’s offering in more ways than styles offered or demographic served. The salon’s intimate, immaculately designed space has not only proven effective in serving clients, but has also hosted, and continues to host, events such as ‘Wild Wednesdays’, a night of music, champagne, networking and deeply discounted hair services, as well as private parties and corporate events.
