Nokeena Networks, the industry’s leading media infrastructure solution delivering a television-like viewing experience at dramatically lower costs, announced today that Deepak Srinivasan, vice president of corporate & business development, and Prabakar Sundarrajan, co-founder and chief technology officer, will discuss strategies to optimize rich media delivery at Digital Hollywood Spring and Content Delivery Summit. These speaking engagements support Nokeena’s corporate strategy to help content providers and owners deliver a television-like quality of experience for online video and new media consumers.
At Digital Hollywood Spring later this week, Srinivasan will join a panel entitled, “Video Metadata Revolution: Unleashing the Value of Video Programming in an On Demand World.” Panelists will discuss the rise of “on demand” video programming and rich video metadata as a key enabler allowing consumers to personalize and control their viewing experience. Rich video metadata also offers content delivery networks (CDNs), content producers and distributors new opportunities to add value and create revenue streams. This session brings together technology, content and advertising perspectives to examine the video metadata revolution. The panel is moderated by Bill Niemeyer, new video strategist & tactician, billniemeyer.TV
Sundarrajan will participate in a product demonstration session at the Content Delivery Summit, entitled, “Next Generation Networks and Services,” which is an exhibition of recently launched companies in the content delivery marketplace. Sundarrajan will present Nokeena and its recently introduced product, Media Flow Director™, answering questions from attendees and demonstrating in real-time Nokeena’s SmoothPlay™ technology.
“High quality of viewing experience is a critical success factor in fueling the adoption and opportunity afforded by the exponential growth in online video and other rich media,” said Prabakar Sundarrajan, co-founder and chief technology officer, Nokeena Networks. “By leveraging Nokeena’s media-intelligent infrastructure solution, content producers and distributors are able to provide a reliable, television-like viewing experience online, and generate new revenue streams based upon value added rich media services at a low cost of delivery.”
