Bazaarvoice has been announced as a finalist in the first Retail Week Technology Awards for the implementation of its flagship product, Ratings & Reviews, on multichannel retailer QVC UK’s website.

The Retail Week Technology Awards represent the relaunch of the European Retail Solutions Awards, and recognise excellence and innovation in retailers’ use of technologies that drive sales.

Through Ratings & Reviews, Bazaarvoice provides QVC UK with hosted technology to incorporate user generated content on its site; enabling customers to share honest opinions about products. The service allows customer participation and enhances the shopping experience.

QVC UK introduced Ratings & Reviews in October 2007. By July 2008, 60% of its products had reviews while an average of 415,702 review impressions were being served each day.
