After completing a total network platform upgrade, the vulnerability and security assessment scan was performed by McAfee. Colpitts received the highest possible vulnerability rating as well as a “Hacker Safe” designation. McAfee is a PCI Security Standards Council approved vendor and is accredited by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card and JCB to perform network security audits.
Colpitts also met the security certification requirements of The Dept of Homeland Security's National Infrastructure Protection Center, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPPA) and the Gramm Leach Bailey Act (GLBA) protecting financial information.
“As a leading Travel Management Company, our clients, and the protection of their financial and personal data is top priority for us,” said Alan M. Krensky, president and CEO of Colpitts World Travel. “To continue to meet PCI compliance standards, our upgraded network devices were audited and passed tests that probe all of the known methods hackers use to access private information. This included vulnerabilities that would allow malicious software, such as viruses and worms, to gain access to or disrupt the network devices. We are extremely pleased to report that our networks are certified PCI compliant.”
