The Awards will be announced during a banquet that will take place on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 in San Antonio, Texas.
The Industrial Technologies Awards are given to companies that have made a significant contribution to the manufacturing, automation, logistics, distribution, materials, construction, security, and process industries. Such companies have shown success at meeting the needs of companies which may be operating in mature segments, delivering value and innovation while developing world-class companies with strong management teams.
The evening will feature a CEO Roundtable, in which senior-level executives will discuss how they have been able to address challenges in diversified markets and still realize growth.
To choose Award recipients, Frost & Sullivan's analyst team tracks emerging and existing markets and evaluates the contributions of industry participants. Analysts quantify several market factors for each participant according to predetermined criteria that define product innovation, product differentiation, customer value, company strategy, and company growth. The analysts also consider the pace of technology development and deployment, and the potential relevance or significance of the innovation to the overall industry. The Award recipient is ultimately chosen after a thorough evaluation of this research.
Over 27 Award recipients will be recognized. The Awards banquet will take place from 5:00 pm. to 10:30 pm. on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at the Westin La Cantera, located at 16641 La Cantera Parkway, San Antonio, Texas 78256.
