ExecDigital.com, the pioneering digital media site exploring business and lifestyle issues facing top executives, announces new appointments to its American, Canadian and UK offices. These appointments are a critical step in accelerating ExecDigital.com’s global strategy.
“We are well on our way to dominating the digital media space on a worldwide basis,” says Glen White, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ExecDigital.com. “With our new seasoned executives heading up the sales and marketing departments in all three territories, we are looking to exceed both consumer expectations and revenue targets.”
Lake Trout, Vice President of Advertising in the U.S., comes to ExecDigital.com with 12 years experience as a publishing and sales management executive. Most recently, Lake led the multimedia sales team for the LA Times, responsible for strategic account growth and cultivating business development opportunities. Prior to the LA Times, Lake spent a decade with ATPCo (a Gannett subsidiary), where he directed the company’s broad range of integrated B2B advertising solutions and spearheaded highly successful company initiatives to support acquisition and penetrate global markets. “I’m excited to bring my expertise in B2B trade publishing and global marketing and sales to ExecDigital.com,” says Lake. “I couldn’t have come on board at a better time, as the opportunities are ripe in digital media and I look forward to helping make ExecDigital.com the ultimate business and luxury brand.”
In Canada, Robert DePodesta joined ExecDigital.ca as Director of Advertising, bringing more than 12 years’ experience as a leader in the Canadian media business. Robert was previously with TIME Canada Ltd., where he was an Account Manager on TIME Canada magazine and the Canadian Ad Manager for Sports Illustrated and GOLF. He also served as Director of Business Development for Captivate Network, selling integrated digital place-based media solutions. “With so many changes taking place in publishing today, I’m eager to jump into digital media and lead the ExecDigital.ca sales team to unprecedented heights.”
Kenny Holroyd, who is a 13-year sales veteran, is ExecDigital.co.uk’s Director of Advertising. Prior to joining ExecDigital.co.uk, Kenny was Sales Director at Financial News, responsible for projects across The Wall Street Journal Europe and Brummell Magazine, with a particular focus on business development within the Middle East. As both Sales Manager and Associate Publisher within the media industry, he has extensive experience in B2B publishing and general media, having launched, managed and sold print, online and event-related media. “There is a void in UK’s media industry for a product that mixes business and luxury living in such a seamless fashion as ExecDigital.co.uk does,” Kenny says. “So I have an exciting road ahead.”
Rounding out the company’s robust executive sales force is marketing and journalism professional Joanna Swartwood, who joined ExecDigital.com as the worldwide Marketing Liaison. Joanna has been heading up companies’ writing, marketing and branding initiatives for almost a decade. She has launched and produced large-scale marketing projects and campaigns, whether for brand awareness, media coverage or scalable events. As the lead writer for all companies and clients she has engaged with, Joanna is also a seasoned journalist and author. She’s published in over 20 magazines, while having ghostwritten A-HA! Performance: Building and Managing a Self-Motivated Workforce, published by Wiley & Sons, and co-authored Entrepreneur: A CEO’s Lessons in American Capitalism.
