They were straining their current systems with recent acquisitions and natural growth in addition to having plants in Australia, Thailand and the Philippines. This situation, along with the rapid development of software systems in recent years, and the growing influence of web based applications and access to information, made such a review an important process.
“We needed a system that was flexible, intelligent and diverse enough to support not only our current business requirements, but our new business and acquisition activity as well. We needed to make a choice for the future,” said Michael Wilson, Group ICT Director. Newly Weds Foods evaluated a number of other software packages including MFG/Pro that was in use at one of their acquisitions and Autosimply. “BatchMaster ERP met more of our business and functionality requirements – it is a good fit for us. The integration with Accpac is solid and seamless so we could retain our investment in our current financial software, and the pricing was right.” said Mr. Wilson. “Also, our China operation was already having a good experience with BatchMaster ERP."
BatchMaster ERP will be implemented centrally in Australia by a BatchMaster consulting team in conjunction with a local Accpac reseller.
