AccuRev was selected for its ability to optimize and automate the software development process and allow organizations using Agile development or other process models to accelerate their throughput and release higher quality software.
The Great Indian Developer Awards honor trailblazing technologies and organizations contributing to the evangelism, productivity and innovation excellence of the software developer ecosystem. A shortlist of three nominees from each of the 11 categories is determined through developer community- driven votes. Winners are then selected by an esteemed judging panel comprised of distinguished executives, seasoned industry professionals, and academia whose expertise spans the entire information technology gamut.
M N Vidyashankar, Former Principal Secretary for Information Technology, Government of Karnataka, and Chairperson of the Great Indian Developer Awards jury, said, "These awards recognize the product and innovation excellence of the hundreds of software products and tools that aid developer productivity, across 11 different categories. The selection criteria applied by an international stature panel places emphasis on functionality, usability, innovation excellence, bleeding-edge quotient, and feedback from the developer ecosystem."
This year’s awards will be given away across 11 categories at an exclusive ‘awards evening’ at the Great Indian Developer Summit, May 25, 2009 at the J N Tata Auditorium (Indian Institute of Science campus) in Bangalore. More information about the awards can be found online.
