Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP (Gardere) announces they have been selected as U.S. legal counsel for the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA), an organization focused on accelerating the growth of the global semiconductor industry.
Gardere offers GSA a full range of legal services including antitrust, trademarks and international activities.
GSA conducted an exhaustive search of legal firms around the country before selecting Gardere as its counsel. They chose Gardere based on its expertise in technology-related law and intellectual property issues.
Randy Gordon will serve as the General Counsel to GSA and will attend board meetings in this role. Gordon is a partner at Gardere and is a member of the firm’s Trial Section and Antitrust Group. His practice is focused on complex litigation, principally in the areas of antitrust and competition law, with secondary emphases on RICO, securities and intellectual property.
“This collaboration gives GSA the legal counsel and perspectives it needs to broaden and enhance value and resources to our organization and members,” said Jodi Shelton, co-founder and executive director of GSA. “Gardere is an ideal firm based on their experience in the technology sector.”
“We look forward to a long-term and rewarding partnership with GSA and its members,” added Gordon. “Our organizations will work closely on a wide range of activities to demonstrate our mutual interests and to support the semiconductor industry.”
