This Webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at 11 am. EST and will be co-presented by two of Octagon's Electronic Data Capture (EDC) experts; Dan Crawford, director, Clinical Data Strategies and Dawn Kaminski, EDC product consultant, EDC Operations at Octagon Research Solutions, Inc.
ViewPoint® FUSE is a web-based EDC solution that initiates the clinical data lifecycle by automating the collection of quality electronic clinical data. Combined with Octagon's technology and process integrations, it promotes institutionalization of clinical data standards that can be implemented at an enterprise level.
This Webinar will present how small companies can quickly and efficiently implement an EDC solution within their organization. In addition, Dan & Dawn will present a case study discussing EDC timelines including set up and closeout, as well as present the benefits of using ViewPoint FUSE for Clinical Trial Data.
Dan Crawford has over 12 years in the pharmaceutical industry, with extensive experience and knowledge in the areas of Data Integration and Standardization. Prior to joining Octagon, Dan was director, Clinical Data Management at MDS Pharma Services where he oversaw the data management department. His extensive experience includes: protocol review, Case Report Form (CRF) design, database development/validation, creation of Data Management Plan, CRF completion guidelines, CRF validation guidelines, data processing, edit check development, Serious Adverse Event (SAE) reconciliation, data listings generation and database audit and lock procedures.
Dawn Kaminski has over 10 years of industry experience. She has held various positions during that time including Project Manager and Director of Data Management. In her most recent position for a major CRO she was the primary consultant to both internal and external clients on data management issues. At Octagon, she performs assessments on electronic clinical data in order to determine compliance and provides guidance in ensuring that the clinical trial output is compliant with SDTM and eSubmission standards.
