Advance Business Systems today announced that they have partnered with Kyocera to sell their award winning line of laser printers.
“While we are pleased to add Kyocera to the growing list of manufacturers that Advance represents, we are even more excited about the possibilities that this creates for our customers’ office productivity,” says Advance Business Systems’ Chief Operating Officer, Jeff Elkin.
According to Elkin, the decision to partner with Kyocera was two-fold—customer need and the desire to add yet another reputable brand to its growing list of manufacturers. Earlier this year, Advance added Canon to its product line, making it the only major independent reseller of Canon in the Baltimore marketplace.
“Our industry has seen an increase in distribution directly from the manufacturers and this can be limiting to a buyer,” says Elkin, “At Advance, we represent a variety of brands for that very reason—we want our customers to have access to the best products in their class regardless of who makes them, backed by Advance’s award winning service department.”
Kyocera now completes the Advance lineup by offering the leading desktop solution for productivity and efficiency. “Industry statistics tell us that for every multifunctional printer in corporate America, there are eight desktop printers,” says Elkin, “This is a tremendous opportunity for our customers to have all of their office equipment needs covered under one umbrella, Advance Business Systems.”
One of the world’s leading document output management companies, Kyocera manufactures and markets monochrome and color network printers, multifunctional products (MFPs), wide-format products and a portfolio of software solutions.
Marking its 45th year, Advance Business Systems has grown to become the region’s largest independent document management company, providing custom solutions for networked digital color and black and white copiers, printers, wide format equipment, electronic document management, fax solutions and paper shredders.
With annual sales revenues approaching $40 million, Advance (advancestuff.com) continues to receive national recognition for their commitment to providing outstanding service, as well as sales awards, from the existing manufacturers they represent.
In addition to now selling Kyocera laser printers, Advance represents the world’s top three office equipment brands, Canon, Ricoh and Savin, as well as Konica Minolta, KIP wide format and a complete line of document management products.
