Simon and Pia Pearce, owners of the Vermont-based company, have announced the appointment of Rob Adams as President of Simon Pearce, Inc. In this newly created position, Adams takes on responsibility for all of Simon Pearce’s operations and reports directly to Simon Pearce, Chief Executive Officer.
Adams joins the 29-year old company with a wealth of expertise, energy and enthusiasm. Before joining Simon Pearce, Rob was the president and chief operating officer at Moving Station, a principal with a private equity firm, and a management consultant with Deloitte, all in Chicago, IL.
Rob is 1990 graduate of Dartmouth College and has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. His wife, Lauren, grew up in Norwich, Vermont, where her father, John Girard, has been a 5th grade teacher at Marion Cross for over 40 years. Rob and Lauren have a 6 year old, Charlie, and a 4 year old, Caroline, and will be living in Norwich.
