Web Business Freedom is the latest venture of web and new media consultant Brandon Uttley. Through the site, Uttley also offers consulting services to individuals and businesses looking to build, maintain and promote their business on the web, without unnecessary expenses and technical expertise.
Uttley, president of Web Business Freedom, has more than 20 years experience in web design and development, marketing and public relations.
"Now more than ever, it’s much easier for the average person or small business to build websites themselves, or hire inexpensive contractors as part of the process," Uttley said. Brandon Uttley founded Web Business Freedom in September 2008. Prior to that, he was co-founder and president of carbonhouse, inc., a leading web development firm. Previous positions included providing public relations counseling to a number of companies, ranging from major sports teams to Fortune 500 firms and bestselling authors.
Uttley earned the Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) designation from Public Relations Society of America. He is currently vice president of the PRSA Charlotte chapter and a member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization. Uttley is a 1987 graduate of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at UNC Chapel Hill.
Married with two small children, Uttley is using Web Business Freedom as the means to "live the dream" of the independent entrepreneur.
