Boutique Luxury Escapes (BLE) Marketing’s portfolio of hotels represented are hand-picked, each is uniquely different and exemplifies a rich royal aspect of India’s architecture and cultures, but there is one attribute common to all: each offers an experience that cannot be found anywhere else and is unique to these regions. The hotels are distinguished by memorable travel experiences and are committed to exceptional service and distinctive style.
For the UK and central European market Boutique Luxury Escape Marketing is proud to represent two very special hotels - Sardargarh Heritage Hotel in Sardargarh near Udaipur and Ri Kynjai in Shillong, Meghalaya (North East India).
Sardargarh Heritage Hotel, one of the magnificent forts of Rajasthan, is an extravagant creation by men of a bygone era, placed amidst the mountains and deep forests of Chuppun. Built during 1738 to 1743 it is situated 94 km north from Udaipur. The various palaces are exquisite specimens of Rajput architecture with a touch of Moghul influence. The magnificent Durbar hall, ladies swimming pool area, gardens and granaries, underground passage system personal apartments and public audience halls... all provide a picturesque contrast between the exigencies of defence and the flamboyance of prosperous peace. Each of the 21 suites situated in the well enclosed Zenanana around the Rang Mahal are personalized by the name of the queen resided in it and decorated in the queen’s favourite colour.
Enjoy candlelight terrace roof-top dinning with Rajasthani folk singers and dancers, be entertained more or less the same way as their ancestors entertained the royal family members and guests some 250 years ago.
Ri Kynjai is built over layers to resemble the local Khasi architecture, the boutique hotel sits on the beautiful East Khasi Hills, surrounded on all sides by the tranquil Lake Umian and about 20 km away from Shillong, Meghalaya. The Khasi name Ri Kynjai translates to 'a land of serene environs'.
The resort is an appealing structure made of wood and stone and is designed by Prabat D Sawyam, Chairman, Centerpoint Group Enterprise. The large luxurious cottages with high roofs and private sit-out overlooking the lake and mountains are almost replicas of the traditional thatched roof huts of the Khasi people. Luxurious additions such as the jacuzzi bathtub, spacious bathroom, large flat screen television. Holistic spa treatments, colourful tribal dances, hard to forget cuisine awaits discerning clients. The hotel is a winner of INTACH award at SATTE 2007.
As founder of Boutique Luxury Escapes Marketing, Anita Niegsch believes that “the emphasis on boutique, luxury and unique hotels, service and quality assurance standards is one of the most important aspects of Boutique Luxury Escapes Marketing. We are committed to quality selection of hotels and believe that we have successfully grouped those standards to fit the needs of the discerning clients”.
Our objectives are clear. Niegsch states that, “For our company, our goal is to create a significant strength in our portfolio and visibility. For our hotel clients, we want to be the company that is their voice in Europe and UK. We want clientele to experience these hotels not only for pure accommodation but for a totally different travel experience too. Right now discerning travellers have limited options when it comes to locating such hotels which are committed to the same high standards of service and we want to introduce these to them”.
The new company is dedicated to representing luxury, heritage palaces and forts and boutique hotels in India and will offer representation and marketing support to raise their profile of the region.
Anita Niegsch, founder, Boutique Luxury Escapes Marketing, said: “Europe and UK are becoming an increasingly important market for individual travellers seeking to explore the unexplored India and staying in royal palaces, historical forts, and boutique hotels which are a destination in themselves. The focus of attention is shifting from the mainstream chain hotels and main cities, to alternate destinations, where there is a wealth of history, destination experience, and easy access.
At the same time, these hotels sometimes do not have enough exposure to the Western market and that is where Boutique Luxury Escapes Marketing (blescapesmarketing.com) comes in. Boutique Luxury Escapes Marketing has very strict guidelines for the type of hotel we will represent, because we want to ensure each hotel is truly special. We are not looking to work with global chains or large hotels.
I am confident that my 18 years experience in the travel industry together with some of the most desirable properties in India will prove to be an unbeatable combination.”
