Each year, the Denver Metro Home Builder’s Association (HBA) recognizes the state’s top remodeling projects in the Colorado Awards for Remodeling Excellence (CARE Awards). Cambridge Construction was just recognized for the 3rd consecutive year for projects in the basement, whole house, addition & kitchen categories.
The largest project Cambridge entered for consideration this year was a full home remodel and addition in Centennial's Chenango subdivision. After 25+ years raising 4 boys and 4 dogs in this home, the clients were noticing significant wear and tear. They decided it was time to undergo a complete remodel to increase the size, aesthetic appeal, and functionality of the 1982 ranch but they wanted to do the project in 2 stages. Stage 1: Create a “guest-suite addition” borrowing space from unused deck and oversized garage. Stage 2: Move into the fully functional addition and remodel the entire main house. The results were fantastic and the home & Cambridge Construction were awarded 2nd place in the 2008 CARE Awards.
