“There are many changes coming to the government market and most companies are not ready for them – indeed – most are not aware of them,” says author and marketing consultant Mark Amtower.
According to Amtower, these changes include a new wave of Presidential appointees who will change the priority landscape for the contracting community, and who will precipitate a major migration of senior execs from government. “If you are not aware of the issues that will impact your ability to sell to the Feds, you will fall behind in the post-election environment.”
Amtower will be discussing these issues and more at the upcoming Government Marketing Best Practices seminar on August 12, 2008 at the Tower Club in Vienna, Virginia. This seminar has toured the country since 2002, attracting thousands of attendees from the government contracting community.
“Less than 2% of the contractors in the Federal market take over 60% of the contracting dollars,” according to Amtower. “Most of these companies attend my events or use my consulting services. This seminar is the only place where you can learn how these companies differentiate themselves from the other 98% of the contractors.”
Amtower’s book of the same name just went into its fifth printing. First published in January, 2005, Government Marketing Best Practices is the best selling book ever about doing business with the government.
Seionce 2002, this seminar has toured the US, presented in Philadelphia, Boston, Washington DC, Chicago, Denver, Atlanta, Kansas City, Los Angeles, San Anonio, Austin, San Jose, Seattle, Boise, Milwaukee, Minneapolis and Clarksville, MD. Over 5,00 B2G professionals have attended this seminar, either as a public or private seminar.
