Oxforshire, United Kingdom, 2006/02/02 - Trailerent, Inc., the UK road trailer rental company has secured a 5 year deal to supply 8 new refrigerated trailers to Dairy Farmers of Britain - IntermodalResource.com.

The Schmitz trailers which are powered by carrier vector engines were delivered at the end of 2005. The contract includes the support of Assetcare Ltd, Trailerent’s web based maintenance package.
Dairy Farmers of Britain is the leading dairy farmers’ co-operative and the third largest milk processor in the UK. Each week Dairy Farmers market nearly 40 million litres of raw milk and sell milk on the doorstep to more than 750,000 households across England and Wales.

To support Dairy Farmers in their commitment to being a socially responsible organisation, Trailerent have fitted ‘hush kits’ to all trailers being used by the Portsmouth depot in order to reduce the level of noise heard by local residents.
