Seapine Software, Inc., a global provider of application lifecycle management (ALM) solutions, today announced that it has established Seapine Software Europe GmbH and is opening an office in Munich, Germany to meet growing demand for its ALM solutions in Germany.
Seapine acquired the business from QA Systems GmbH, a German distributor, who over the past five years has established a significant Seapine German presence. “We are grateful to QA Systems for their dedication to our solutions,” said Kevin P. Stewart, vice president worldwide sales, Seapine Software. “Their hard work has helped position us to make this move.”
European sales growth of over 45 percent in 2007 and the desire to provide direct support to German customers prompted the decision to establish the Munich office. Robert Riccetti, Seapine’s business development manager for Europe, will manage the office, which will provide sales and technical support services.
“The establishment of Seapine Software Europe GmbH reaffirms our commitment to grow and support our customer base in Germany,” said Stewart. “We are delighted that Mr. Riccetti will be relocating to manage our Munich sales operations, and we look forward to this transition. His significant knowledge of Seapine’s software and the application lifecycle management sector gives him the ability to help our customers solve complex software development process issues.”
