Orange County, CA, United States, 2006/01/18 - According to all the apparel market demographics, 6.9 million women go online to shop for their fashions. In fact, 58% of all transactions online are performed by women between the ages of 25-45
What are they looking for? Stylish fashions and one-of-a-kind accessories—for themselves or others. Studies show that this savvy shopper spends on average between $250 and $350. Amore’ Fashion’s cater to their whims and wishes offering high-end, eye-catching fashions available 24/7, online.
Steve Oprian, principal and major stockholder of Amore’ Fashion, along with partner Erin Penrod, designed the online shopping site to serve a discerning female clientele, giving these women a place to shop anytime, anywhere, at their convenience.
“When we learned that year-to-year overall Internet sales are projected to increase by 29%, we knew we had a platform for our high-end fashions,” Steve said. According to the American Retail Index on Internet Shopping, the future for e-commerce is very encouraging. “Studies show that more than 31% of consumers surveyed plan to purchase gifts online this holiday season, up from 18% last year,” Erin said. “Amore’ Fashion is positioned to ride that curve.”
Trendy and Unique
The concept of the newly launched website is to be trendy yet unique. “I’m a consumer of designer fashions,” Erin explained. “But I can’t find what I want at shopping malls. My friends know I crave unique fashions – chic and trendy, but not outrageous. That’s what we offer at Amore’ Fashion. Chic and trendy, but not outrageous.”
Presently, Penrod works fulltime and plans to graduate from Antioch University with a graduate degree in March 2006. Her vision of Amore’ Fashion is a site that offers ‘movie star’ clothing and accessories online, where women can put together a fantastic outfit, click a few buttons, and have it delivered in time for their big event . “This site is for women like me,” she says. “Women who love fashion, love to be noticed, but don’t have time to drive to the mall. Our designs are the hottest on the web!” The outfits are made from plush fabrics like crushed denim, leather, velvet, silk, lace and satin in prices ranging from $100 to $500.
“A lot of thought went into this website,” Oprian says. “We have an excellent return policy, personalized customer service, and high quality fashions. Erin calls them ‘kicky’. By having all of this online, shopping becomes fun again. The ease of use demanded by today’s busy women demand will help us earn their loyalty and gain repeat business.”
New Designs, Hollywood Style
Many of the Amore’ Fashion designers began their rise to fame on the backs of celebrities. For example, the movie “Must Love Dogs” features the work of Lynn-Linh, worn by Diane Lane. The outfit is one of the favorites on the Amore’ website. This is in keeping with the Amore’ focus – to showcase designers just beginning to make a name for themselves. Their unique styles and user-friendly web presence are just two of the ways Oprian and Penrod expect to compete with specialty stores in shopping malls.
“It’s amazing to me,” Oprian says, “that most Internet companies who market directly to women online don’t understand their female clients. Amore’ Fashion is totally focused on women. Erin and I spent over two years researching how women shop online, and we believe we’ve designed and built a user-friendly website that women will shop at over and over again. When women are looking for something trendy, chic, upscale but not too expensive, Amore’ Fashion is the only place to shop.”
“And,” Oprian adds, “we plan on offering men’s clothing and designer fashions for kids and babies soon. We encourage designers with an interest in working with us to call us."
