UK financial services company, Chequepoint is hoping to cash in on Christmas by launching the WorldCash Gift Card.
John Ondreasz, vice president of card operations says, the solution to the age-old problem on what to buy people for Christmas has been answered, why do people continue to give gift vouchers which force the recipient to spend their money in one particular store or chain where with a WorldCash Gift Card they can choose where, when and on what they spend their money.
The card is marketed under the slogan 'gift vouchers are old hat'.
More innovative than a gift voucher and far more personal than cash, the WorldCash Gift Card can be loaded with any sum between £25 and £250 and is valid for up to two years. They can be used at shops, restaurants and on websites that accept MasterCard.
