evin Isakson, Director of Sales and Marketing for Isakson-Barnhart, developers of nationally recognized, award-winning residential communities offering a continuum of care for those age 62 and over, will participate as a speaker at the State of Atlanta Symposium. The symposium, presented by CREW Atlanta and the Atlanta Area Chapter Appraisal Institute, is in its sixth year and is one of the premier events to educate and enlighten Atlanta real estate professionals regarding local, national and global market trends. Isakson’s presentation will focus on continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs). The symposium will be held at the Cobb Galleria Center on Thursday, October 18.
“An extensive array of housing options are available to retirees in Atlanta today, and real estate professionals must be prepared to present those options thoroughly as well as help older adult purchasers think through all of the decisions that must be made when it comes to purchasing a home at that stage in life,” said Isakson.
The symposium will include discussions of significant interest within the world of real estate today. The theme of this year's program is Green, Global and Grinding it Out, and topics will include Green and Sustainable Buildings, the Globalization of Real Estate within the investment and corporate arenas, and the issues and concerns related to lending and the economic consequences making headlines today. The symposium is conducted by industry leaders who will provide their knowledge and insights to these topics.
Approximately 250 real estate professionals are anticipated to be in attendance at the symposium.
Isakson has extensive experience in developing and marketing successful senior programs, leading the sales and marketing efforts of Isakson-Barnhart’s flagship CCRC, Park Springs in Stone Mountain, and for Peachtree Hills Place, the company’s second CCRC.
Kevin is active as a member of the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Aging Services Committee and a participant in DeKalb County’s Bridge Builders. He has also served on the boards of DeKalb Senior Connections, a provider of quality services to the elderly, and of the DeKalb County Senior Citizens Advisory Council.
Isakson Barnhart is Georgia’s developer of nationally recognized, award-winning residential communities for those age 62 and over. The company’s vision to provide amenity-rich, independent living for discerning adults was born out of the personal experiences of the family of Ed and Julia Isakson after their difficult search for a community that would provide an active lifestyle combined with on-site health care. This mission manifested itself in Park Springs, the company’s flagship property in Stone Mountain. Park Springs was nationally recognized by the 50+ Housing Council of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) as the recipient of the 2005 Platinum Award for best large CCRC as well as the Gold Award for interior design. Now, Isakson Barnhart introduces another award-winning residential community in Peachtree Hills Place, named the best “On the Boards” large CCRC by the same group in 2006. Isakson Barnhart has carefully selected Life Care Services, LLC, the leading management company of senior communities in the nation, to partner in the planning and management of Peachtree Hills Place and Park Springs.
