Meritage Homes Corp. (NYSE: MTH) has been named 2005 Builder of the Year by the Texas Association of Builders. Meritage received the Grand Award, the highest award given at the 2005 Star Awards ceremony held recently in Dallas.
One of the Southwest’s premier building industry awards program, the Star Awards competition is open to builders and developers throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. Meritage is a four-time recipient of this prestigious regional award, accepting the Grand Award for high volume builders in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2005.
