Richport Properties is pleased to welcome Michael Collins to the Richport family. Collins will serve as the onsite sales manager for Richport Properties’ Brookline community. Located in Newton County, Brookline is an active adult community offering single family homes priced from the $190,000s to $260,000s.
“We are very excited that Michael is now part of our team,” said Brad Brandon, Vice President of Sales for Premises, Inc., Richport’s in-house brokerage firm. “He exemplifies strong people skills and really gives others a sense that they can relate to him, which makes him very easy to talk to. It is because of these exceptional interpersonal skills, combined with his devotion to the task at hand, that we feel make him a great individual for the job.”
Currently, Collins manages the community from the newly opened onsite sales trailer where his primary responsibility is to answer any questions that shoppers may have about the community. In addition to providing potential homebuyers with information about Brookline, Collins showcases the homes, drafts contracts, and oversees all sales and marketing. While Collins is happy that he was recently able to move into the onsite sales trailer, he is extremely excited about moving from the trailer to the soon-to-be complete model home in mid-August.
Prior to being hired by Richport Properties, Collins worked as an onsite sales manager at Ross Mundy Custom Homes. He attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where he majored in business management. He has been involved in the real estate industry for about one year, specializing in new homes for the past six months. Currently, he resides in Gwinnett County.
There will be a total of six ranch and two story plans available at Brookline, three of which will offer rear-entry garages, and the other three offering front-entry. The cottage-style homes will range in size from 1,500 to 2,300 square feet, and 31 of the homes will be located along the fairways of the Indian Creek Golf Club. Phase I of the community will include 64 homes, 15 of which will offer views of the Indian Creek Golf Club fairways and, as with all homes along the fairways, include a one year membership to the course.
Homeowners will enjoy the array of features the plans include such as solid surface countertops, hardwood floors throughout, master on main plans, wide doorways, easy entry exterior doors and three to four bedroom floor plans. In addition, homeowners may relax on their large front porches in the evenings and chat with neighbors as they take a stroll through the neighborhood. All homes also include gas lights, routine lawn care, waste service, exterior maintenance of homes and plenty of upgrade options.
Homeowners who do not purchase a home along the fairways of Indian Creek Golf Club will be able to purchase golf packages to the course. Other community amenities include landscaped pocket parks and sidewalks throughout. In addition to the close proximity to downtown Covington and Indian Creek Golf Club, homeowners may also enjoy easy access to Interstate 20. Making it easy for homeowners to access the Internet, there will be 24/7 computer/networking support available at the community.
Interested buyers should contact Collins at 770-385-7033. To visit Brookline, travel East on I-20 to exit 93. Take a right off the exit and go approximately three miles. Pass over the railroad tracks, and the community will be on the left. Richport Properties, 30 Years of Building a Better World.
