Leviton Network Solutions, a global leader in high-performance fiber cable and connectivity solutions, today announced the availability of over 100 configuration options for its high-fiber-count cable assemblies, with production from its UK factory.
Delivered through the Leviton SJX fiber trunk family, part of its STRATA™ and OPT‑X™ Global Fiber Systems, the portfolio can now be manufactured in Leviton’s UK‑based, carbon neutral Data Center Factory to provide the speed, scale and assurance required by modern data centers. This establishes additional production capacity to what Leviton has in the USA, and complements Leviton’s previously announced ultra‑high‑density fiber roadmap for AI and hyperscale networks.
“Our enhanced fiber production arrives at a critical time,” said Eddie McGinley, senior director of product management for Leviton. “Operators are under immense pressure to scale optical infrastructure quickly, with the added weight of navigating global supply challenges. This means they need partners they can trust and who will deliver against their commitments.”
The production expansion accompanies broader investments in Leviton’s UK facility, where upgrades to cable, cassette and assembly production have increased output and strengthened supply reliability. These investments include:
• Manufacturing 100-plus OPT-X™ SJX cable types and trunks in both the UK and USA;
• New OPT-X™ HDX fiber cassette production in the UK;
• Completed major expansion of the UK Data Center Factory.
With manufacturing in both the UK and USA, including dual-rated LSZH CPR B2ca/Riser constructions, Leviton gives customers greater options for sourcing, simpler project planning and reliable access to critical components.
Additional features and benefits for customers include:
• Loose-tube fiber constructions supporting current and future high-density architectures for ultra-high-density fiber counts;
• Support for Base-8, Base-12 and Base-16 configurations;
• More dependable supply across regions via enhanced global redundancy;
• Shorter, more reliable lead times across all data center builds;
• High-density connectivity optimized for AI clusters, cloud pods and colocation sites.
All new configuration options are available for order immediately through Leviton’s global sales channels and distribution partners.
