This collaboration creates a service where Siemens will provide organizations with a comprehensive, automated solution for analyzing, managing and securing their rapidly expanding fleets of Internet of Things (IoT) and Operational Technology (OT) devices, providing robust cyber hygiene and continuous compliance.
The proliferation of OT and IoT devices has created significant cyber-attack opportunities for enterprises, with estimates showing an average of five to ten OT/IoT devices per employee. While these devices are critical for business operations, they often lack the security management standards applied to traditional IT assets, making them vulnerable to ransomware and data exfiltration.
