Just in time for the dark season, the new generation of powerful bicycle lighting is here: the innovative LEDsBIKE COMPACT sets include an intuitive front light with 50 or 100 lux and a rear light. The high-performance lights offer three brightness levels that can either be adjusted manually or automatically adapt to the ambient light conditions via a brightness sensor. The integrated brake light in the rear lamp automatically signals braking to other road users. With a battery life of up to 14 hours, the lights provide long-lasting performance before they need to be recharged. The Garmin-compatible mount with a practical quick-release system makes installation quick and easy.
The new LEDsBIKE COMPACT bicycle light sets from OSRAM Automotive are available in two power levels: 50 or 100 lux. Both versions feature a compact, lightweight design with an ABS case, are StVZO approved, and impress with powerful ams OSRAM LEDs for optimal visibility and safety in road traffic. Both sets are weather-resistant according to IP54, come with a Garmin-compatible mount for various handlebar sizes, a convenient USB-C charging function, and include a 2-year warranty¹.
The 50 lux version impresses with three brightness levels (25%, 50%, 100%) on the front light, a battery and charging indicator, and up to 14 hours of battery life. This lighting set is ideal for use on city bikes, trekking bikes, mountain bikes, road bikes, gravel bikes, and e-bikes.
The 100 lux set additionally offers an automatic mode for the front brightness levels and an integrated brake light on the rear lamp. The automatic mode detects the current lighting conditions and adjusts the brightness automatically. In darkness or poor visibility, the LED automatically switches to a higher setting, while in sufficient ambient light, the brightness is reduced. This not only increases comfort but also ensures maximum safety and extends the battery life to up to 12 hours.
Another highlight is the intelligent rear light with brake light function. The system reliably detects deceleration or braking and activates a significantly brighter light signal in these moments. This ensures that other road users are alerted to the braking maneuver early on an added level of safety, especially when riding in the dark or in poor visibility conditions.
The rear lights are also available separately as LEDsBIKE COMPACT REAR or RACE REAR.
