The Retirement Advantage, Inc. (TRA), a leading provider of retirement services nationwide, proudly announces the addition of David Kay to its team as the newest Regional Plan Consultant (RPC). Bringing decades of experience in retirement plan sales, consulting, and business development, Kay will be supporting Alaska, Northern California, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington and Wyoming territories. He will report directly to Darin Erdmann, TRA’s Director of Sales & Distribution.
Erdmann shared his excitement about welcoming Kay, noting,“David has a proven history of accelerating growth and crafting retirement plan solutions tailored to each client’s needs. With nearly 20 years in the financial services and retirement plans industry, Kay has sold hundreds of 401(k), profit sharing, defined benefit, cash balance, and ESOP plans, generating millions in retirement assets. He brings extensive expertise in advisor partnerships, plan design, and conversion sales.
Kay holds multiple professional credentials, including QKA (Qualified 401(k) Administrator), CRPS (Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist), and AIF (Accredited Investment Fiduciary) designations, along with FINRA Series 6, 7, and 63 licenses.

Kay earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Union College in Schenectady, NY. Outside of work, he is an avid fitness enthusiast, a devoted husband and father of two, and a dedicated supporter of animal rescue efforts.
