Leviton announced, today, the expansion of its SJZ bulk fibre cable and trunk assembly portfolio to include 288-fibre options for customers in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. As bandwidth demand and transceiver speeds in hyperscale and AI data centres increase, so does the overall amount of fibre being installed. 288-fibre solutions create a flexible and scalable infrastructure in these environments.

SJZ trunk cable assemblies are available in two performance levels: OPT-X™ Unity for ultra-low-loss performance when customers require multiple connection points and greater distances, and OPT-X Engage for low-loss performance offered well within IEEE low-loss limits.
In addition to trunks, Leviton can cater to splicing needs within data centres by offering up to 288-fibre bulk cables. These cables are rated Euroclass B2ca, s1a d1 a1 for LSZH installations, and OFNR-FT4-ST1 for riser installations, providing excellent assurance where fire safety is key. These cables are ideal for use with splice cassettes, splice on connectors, or traditional splicing.
