Supported by the French government via the ADEME (Agence de l'Environnement Et de la Maîtrise de l'Énergie) and the SGPI (Secrétariat Général Pour l'Investissement), the TGV M project has benefited from the know-how of the best experts at Alstom and SNCF Voyageurs (sncf-voyageurs.com) since its launch in 2016, working together on the same platform as part of an unprecedented innovation partnership.
For this fifth generation of the TGV, the teams have started from scratch, but have drawn on the experience of the four previous generations.
See the press kit for details of the improvements made to the future TGV INOUI, which will welcome its first passengers in 2026.
