Leviton announced today the upcoming launch of its latest copper networking innovation, a series of new AX0 (AX Zero) Shielded and UTP Jacks. The AX0 Jack series offers a solid performing, tool-free termination option for enterprise applications that streamlines network deployment for installers while providing performance assurance over the life of the network.
“AX0 jacks facilitate rapid, simple terminations, with one-piece wire managers and tool free installation,” said Yuna Shin, Sr. Global Product Manager. “We listened to enterprise network installers and technicians from around the world and designed this series of AX0 jacks to make their work easier while ensuring the kind of solid performance you expect from a Leviton network infrastructure at a cost-effective price point for EMEA regions.”
Key features of AX0 jacks include:
• Tool-free termination allows for faster installation with no proprietary tools, uses Leviton patented technology to lower installation force;
• Innovative EMI isolating door design on UTP Cat 6A jacks provides additional crosstalk (AXT) suppression;
• Metal body and doors on Cat 6A and Cat 6 shielded jacks provide excellent PoE performance and heat dissipation;
• Compatibility with all Leviton QUICKPORT™ patch panels, wallplates, and housings offers great flexibility and expanded capabilities in all areas of the enterprise network;
• Component-rating assures solid performance in real world applications;
• Compliance to IEEE 802.3bt type 4 PoE standards enables the latest IoT and enterprise network technologies;
• Compatibility with Leviton Jack Icons to customize the look of the jack face and provide port identification options;
• Available in GREENPACK™ Sustainably Smart Packaging Bulk Packs means a smaller carbon footprint, no single use plastics, and less jobsite waste.

With the introduction of the AX0 jacks, Leviton expands its multiple tiers of jack options including Leviton’s premier and highest performing ATLAS-X1™ series of UTP and Shielded Jacks.
This new series of AX0 Cat 6A and Cat 6, Shielded and UTP jacks will be available to customers in Europe and the Middle East starting November.
