ProCore Laboratories, LLC today announced the appointment of Mr. Douglas Loomer as Vice President of Operations. Mr. Loomer joins ProCore Labs with over 25 years of experience building and managing manufacturing operations for some of the world’s largest health and beauty aid companies.
As L’Oreal’s Director of Planning, Mr. Loomer is credited with helping to secure Supplier of the Year honors from Wal-Mart’s noted Department 46, health and beauty aids. Mr. Loomer also served as Wella’s Director of Manufacturing and Estee Lauder’s Director of Production.
According to Mr. Loomer, “Finished goods master planning is all about anticipation, preparedness and back-up plans. For many sku’s, Wal-Mart carries zero warehouse inventory in Department 46, health and beauty aids. At L’Oreal I worked closely with Purchasing, Packaging Development, Marketing, Forecasting and the General Management to prepare for an average of eight new product launches monthly. We operated on a six month window doing forecast and sensitivity analysis to make sure L’Oreal’s consumer customers were always able to get the products they wanted when they wanted them.”
