MAK selected as one of the contractors for key categories of the Multi-Award Contract including Development Planning, Systems Development, and Synthetic Environment Development Cambridge, MA, February 8, 2023 - MAK Technologies (MAK), a company of ST Engineering North America, today announced it was one of the contractors awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract by the United States Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Architecture & Integration Directorate (AFLCMC/XA) to rapidly contract for capabilities that enable multi-domain, multi-level security development, analysis, and synthetic environments.
This IDIQ contract is a Multi-Award Contract (MAC) which provides for an indefinite quantity of supplies or services up to a maximum of $900M with a ten-year period of performance. MAK is eligible to compete, along with the other eligible industry participants, as a prime for delivery orders through this contract over the next ten years.
The IDIQ contract covers three categories of performance, and MAK was selected to participate in all three.
• Category 1 Development Planning: Capability Development and Development Planning includes activities associated with concept development/maturation modeling, simulation & analysis, product support planning, and future technology integration.
• Category 2 Systems Development: Systems Development consists of innovative approaches to develop a wide range of systems addressing warfighter needs and supporting future program launch across the AFLCMC/XA portfolio.
• Category 3 Synthetic Environment Development: Simulation Development includes development, testing, deployment, and operation within a simulated environment.
