Today, Aptean, a global provider of mission-critical enterprise software solutions, announced that it has been selected as a recipient of the Supply & Demand Chain Executive (SDCE) 2020 Green Supply Chain Award. The award recognizes companies that are making sustainability a core part of their supply chain strategy, as well as providers of supply chain solutions and services that assist their customers in achieving measurable sustainability goals.
SDCE’s Green Supply Chain Award (sdcexec.com) recognizes providers who focus on ways to reuse or recycle items throughout their operations with the goal of making their supply chains more eco-friendly. The award recognized Aptean’s Paragon division that produces market-leading route optimization software. The solution helps customers measure sustainability-related delivery metrics, including fuel consumption, miles driven and idle time.

Helping support sustainability efforts continues to increase in its importance for software selection. Recently, Aptean issued a Global Food and Beverage Industry Trends Report showing 79% of food and beverage executives and thought leaders are prioritizing action on sustainability.
