FIS™, a global leader in financial services technology, announced today that it has been selected by Gateway Mortgage Group, LLC to provide the modern core banking platform to power its new digital bank, Gateway First Bank.
A leading mortgage company licensed in 40 states and the District of Columbia, Gateway Mortgage Group will acquire Oklahoma-based Farmers Exchange Bank as part of its evolution to a diversified regional banking model serving both commercial and consumer clients.
With a goal to grow its accounts and deposits nationwide, Gateway Mortgage Group is planning in mid-2019 to launch Gateway First Bank, its full-service, direct-to-consumer digital bank. The group chose FIS to deliver a modern core banking solution, including an advanced Online Account Origination system based on the next-generation FIS Digital One™ omnichannel platform.

Built on an open, component-based architecture, the new FIS platform will enable Gateway First Bank to provide a full set of responsive, personalized digital services to its customers. The Digital One Online Account Origination solution will allow customers to open and manage their accounts via mobile and laptop devices.
