Taber, Alberta, Canada, 2019/02/27 - The PCL family of companies is pleased to announce its Calgary district has been chosen as the preferred builder of a very significant fertilizer project for Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) - PCL.com.

The fertilizer terminal will be built near Grassy Lake, Alberta.

When completed, the new state-of-the-art, high throughput fertilizer terminal will be able to accommodate up to a 110-car unit train to receive product from domestic and international suppliers.
Construction is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2019. The terminal is expected to be fully operational for the summer of 2020. The project is expected to create about 150 jobs during the construction phase.
PCL will be partnering with many local subtrades and suppliers, and a significant percentage of labour will be sourced locally.
