Propelled by customer demand for AI-powered workloads that self-manage, Turbonomic today announced that it has been named to Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™, an elite ranking among the 500 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and energy tech companies in North America. According to Deloitte, emerging growth companies are powering innovation in the broader economy and they expect many of these companies to become dominant in their categories or to create entirely new categories.
“Software, which accounts for nearly two of every three companies on the list, continues to produce some of the most exciting technologies of the 21st century, including innovations in artificial intelligence, predictive analytics and robotics,” said Mohana Dissanayake, Partner, Deloitte & Touche LLP, and Industry Leader for technology, media and telecommunications, within Deloitte’s audit and assurance practice. “This year’s ranking demonstrates what is likely a national phenomenon, where companies across America are transforming the way we do business by combining breakthrough research and development, entrepreneurship and rapid growth.”
“Our AIOps approach scales to the complexity inherent in hybrid and multi-cloud environments, which is fueling our rapid growth,” said Benjamin Nye, CEO of Turbonomic. “Turbonomic makes workloads ‘SMART’ (self-managing, anywhere, in real-time), enabling customers to achieve their digital transformation goals responsibly, overcoming any skills gaps or scale challenges that exist. We’re honored to be recognized by Deloitte as a Fast 500 for a second time.”
Public and hybrid cloud are becoming the IT infrastructure of choice across all industries because it promises agility and elasticity. However, manually matching fluctuating demand with the right infrastructure, in real-time is not feasible, and leads to over-provisioning and cloud bills that are often more than 3X larger than expected. Turbonomic’s AI-powered workload automation matches application demand with infrastructure supply, ensuring performance and policy compliance while minimizing costs.
“Congratulations to the Deloitte 2018 Technology Fast 500 winners on this impressive achievement. These companies are innovators who have converted their disruptive ideas into products, services and experiences that can captivate new customers and drive remarkable growth,” said Sandra Shirai, Vice Chairman, Deloitte LLP, and U.S. technology, media and telecommunications leader.
This is Turbonomic’s second appearance on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 list. Today’s recognition is the latest in a series of industry recognition for the company, including also recently being named to the Forbes Cloud 100 list for the third consecutive year, landing on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies for a third time, and also achieving top placement in The Forrester Wave™: Cloud Cost Monitoring and Optimization, Q2 2018
