Essity, a leading global hygiene and health company, has selected JDA® Transportation Management solutions from JDA Software, Inc., to lower transportation costs and maximize visibility throughout their supply chain. In an increasingly complex and challenging supply chain environment, JDA will allow Essity to harmonize its transportation processes delivering both optimal cost control and superior customer service.
JDA Transportation Management will provide Essity with a single platform across all the European countries in which they operate, to plan transportation and provide visibility across Essity’s network by synchronizing critical transportation processes. Essity will deploy JDA Transportation Management across North America and Latin America as the second phase of its supply chain transformation. Over time, JDA will help Essity optimize costs across its supply chain via route consolidation, load optimization, and by adopting leading practices in logistics management.
