Aging infrastructure across the United States underscores the growing need for reliable, safe and secure water systems and facilities. To address this need, Rockwell Automation will showcase smart and connected solutions and services at WEFTEC October 1-3 (weftec.org) in New Orleans, to help water-industry professionals create safer, more efficient and sustainable treatment facilities for industrial and municipal use.

By 2027, the U.S. is expected to spend over $72 billion annually for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure and storm water treatment efforts, according to the recent U.S. Municipal Water Infrastructure report.

Another display will feature the company’s broad intelligent motor control portfolio and integrated pump monitoring solutions designed to keep pumping stations operating at peak performance throughout their lifecycle.
