Verint® Systems, Inc. today announced that it is being honored twice for its situational intelligence solutions designed to help organizations enhance communication, increase situational awareness and access intelligence data for faster and more efficient response.
Verint Dispatch Manager™ received Campus Safety Magazine’s 2017 Best Award for its ability to help command centers streamline communications and response within K-12 institutions, universities, campus environments and healthcare organizations. The solution has also been named a finalist in the 2017 Security and Fire Excellence Awards “Communication Product of the Year” category, presented in partnership with IFSEC International. This “Excellence Awards” program honors the most innovative global security and safety solutions across a wide variety of categories.
Modern emergency services, 9-1-1 centers, public and private organizations, and first responders need to capture, analyze, and act quickly on large amounts of information. Verint helps unify disparate command center technologies and security staff by gathering, processing and analyzing critical data to gain greater situational awareness and help drive rapid response to events when they occur. Verint Dispatch Manager combines live event data with GIS maps, responder positions, and reporter inputs with other sources, such as weather, web and social media intelligence and citizen captured data like smartphone video, creating a more accurate picture for better communications and a more effective response.
“Verint is dedicated to developing technologies and services that help organizations address their mission-critical security challenges,” says Alan Stoddard, vice president and general manager, situational intelligence solutions, Verint. “We are thrilled to be honored amongst the market’s top technology innovators. These recognitions validate the impact Verint delivers by bringing new levels of situational awareness and security intelligence to our global customer base.”
