Infor, a leading provider of beautiful business applications specialized by industry and built for the cloud, today announced that Trioliet, a manufacturer of feeding technology for livestock farming, has selected Infor LN with the aim of further elevating its business, as well as to help its dealers and offer them more agility. The system is expected to go live in June 2018.
Trioliet, a family company founded by the three brothers Liet in 1950, develops, manufactures and sells machinery and systems for feeding dairy and beef. For over 65 years, they have been a world leader in feeding technology. The company provides sustainable solutions for the mechanized and automated feeding of cattle and helps dairy farms achieve scalable growth. The products include top-loading, self-loading and self-propelled mixer feeders, robotic feeding systems and biogas feeding systems. About 85 percent of these products are exported all over the world. With 230 employees and its headquarter in Oldenzaal, the Netherlands, Trioliet is market leader in feeding technology.
The family business, which is always evolving through the use of new and smarter technology, has been nominated for the King Willem I award, a corporate prize for companies that demonstrate good entrepreneurship, determination and perseverance, in addition to being sustainable.
To be better prepared for the future, to help modernize company operations and to drive the next level of growth, the company needed a new ERP system with more standard features and less customization. The company asked Skopos, an independent ERP specialist, for advice and selected the ERP solution Infor LN, which provides a consolidated view of complex global operations from design to delivery, including manufacturing, supply chain management and after-market services.
With Infor LN, Trioliet can rely on a standard solution with a broader pallet of functionalities. This means that the manufacturer is better equipped for the future and can offer its dealers more flexibility by providing them with the ability to configure products using Infor CPQ, something that was previously done internally at Trioliet. The end customer will therefore experience a faster and less complex service. Also, it decreases the chance for errors.
