Rocket Software, Inc. today announced the latest addition to its suite of modernization tools for IBM i and other legacy platforms with the launch of Rocket® API for IBM i. Rocket API helps users participate in the API economy and monetize their data by making it even easier for them to transform rigid, green-screen based workflows into the intuitive web and mobile experiences today’s users demand. With Rocket API, real-time transactional data from host-based systems can be easily accessed by modern programming languages without requiring modifications to the original source code or disrupting connections between existing APIs and the applications that call them.
